2019 “Elegant Mount Lu, Cultural Holy”four-day trip

      On June 13, 2019, 40 people as a group from Shenzhen Wave Co., Ltd, took the K92(Shenzhendong 18:03-Jiujiang 07:17), an air-conditioned train, from Shenzhen to the Jiujiang Station. The four days of long-awaited Mount Lu cultural journey began.

     After having the breakfast, the group took bus to Mount Lu, which is a world heritage mountain. Mount Lu is magnificent, often veiled in mist. There are number of waterfalls, strange caves and stones inside. The places of historical interest can be found everywhere. It is a famous tourism scenic area in China-good for avoiding hotness or having recuperation for its cool and refreshing climate in summer. Also, Mount Lu’s “grandness, strange, steepness, prettiness” make it well-known all around the world. “World Heritage Site” has put it on the list in 1996.

      On the top of Mount Lu, there is a picturesque blossomy park for experiencing the season change in “When the flowers on earth are decaying in April, the peach blossoms in the hill temple are just started to be in full.”. On the way to the steep Jinxiu Vally, people can see thousands of rocks competing while sounds echoing in the dingles, reciting “It's like a range, when you look at the mountain from the front; it's like a peak, when you look at it sideways”. Climbing Three Tiled Springs is challenged. The wide-minded conception and the beauty of nature in Bai Li’s poem “Like an upended stream the cataract sounds loud, as if the Silver River fell from the blue sky” can be faced directly. Setting foot in Mount Lu, we were deeply touched by the profoundness and long history of Chinese culture. Mount Lu is one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization. In its unique way, historical relics in Mount Lu merge into the beauty and value of nature, forming a cultural scenic area with high aesthetic value. We were extremely proud of our ancestors’ precious cultural heritage!

       We watched the film Romance on Lushan Mountain in the evening, which is a romantic movie directed by Zumo Huang, performed by Yu Zhang and Kaimin Gu, and filmed by Shanghai Film Studio in 1980. Romance on Lushan Mountain as the movie that has been played in one single cinema for the longest time, not only coated Mount Lu with color of tenderness, but also add sentiment into the beautiful scenery. Mount Lu and Romance on Lushan Mountain depend on each other, standing out from Chinese-even the world’s mountain tourist attractions.

       4am at the second day morning, we walked towards the southern east of the mountain to watch sun rise and sea of clouds in Hanpokou. Another crazy experience in life!

         We went back to the restaurant after seeing the sun rise. Everyone was still in high spirit and started the competition of writing ancient poems. Although the poems were not done neatly, the participation is more important.

     After the lunch, we went down the mountain by car, arriving at the famous storied building Xunyang Tower nearby the Long River. Xunyang Tower is one of the ten famous towers in Jiangnan, China. Juyi Bai described the scenery around it in his poem: Writing an inscription on the wall of Xunyang Tower. But what really made the Xunyang Tower famous is the masterpiece Water Margin. Jiang Song’s anti-poems in the novel and the story of Kui Li’s rubbery of the execution ground, distinguished Xunyang Tower. ascending the tower and staring distantly toward the Long River, we found ships bustling instantly on the river. “Where is the prince who had the pavilion built here? Beyond the balustrade silently the long river flows.” We could not help thinking about the outstanding personage disappearing into the river of time.

     When the afternoon tour was finished, we headed to Jiujiang Station and took the (Jiujiang-Shenzhen) train back to Shenzhen, to end the pleasant journey.

    Due to the floods in Ganzhou along the railway, our tour was delayed for more than half of a day. There were several attractions that were failed to go, such as Zhou yu’s Commander Appointment Stage, Loving of lotus pool, White Deer Cavern Academy, etc,. But this may not be a bad thing. Having a wish, finding a reason to go to Mount Lu again, the future can be expected!
